Supply Chain Optimization Intern

A 12-week internship is available for entry-level graduates or students at a leading engineering and manufacturing firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the company's supply chain and logistics strategy, optimizing production processes, and managing inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing a supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives
- Assisting senior engineers with procurement planning, inventory control, and logistics management
- Conducting risk assessments for suppliers and products, ensuring alternate supply channels are in place
- Reviewing and evaluating inventory on a regular basis, liaising with vendors and supply partners
- On-site experience with inventory management, sourcing, vendor engagement, and product evaluation
- Negotiating and liaison skills, working with stakeholders to optimize the supply chain
- Mapped supply chains to identify opportunities and reduce disruptions
- Exposure to radio management and MCU application experiences
- Networking opportunities across industries and with vendors
- Gain hands-on experience in supply chain management
- Develop essential skills in negotiation, communication, and problem-solving
