We are seeking an exceptional and visionary leader to oversee the scientific outputs of our global-scale research program. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality scientific outputs capable of rapid clinical translation, fostering collaboration to enhance productivity, reducing duplication, and facilitating researcher access to advanced technologies.
The role involves identifying new discoveries, supporting their swift translation, and enabling researchers to collaborate effectively. The Director—Research Translation will also support the Centre Director and respond to advice from the International Scientific Advisory Board, actively identifying new global scientific opportunities to enhance the Centre's outputs.
This is a unique opportunity to join our centre and contribute to the development of platform technologies that enable the rapid design and development of therapeutics for pandemic pathogens.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in leading scientific research teams, with expertise in pandemic therapeutics and experience in managing complex research programs.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily scientific operations and collaborate closely with the Centre Director, Director of Research and Operations, Head of Commercialisation, and Business Development Director.
- Foster collaboration among researchers to enhance productivity and reduce duplication.
- Support the Centre Director and respond to advice from the International Scientific Advisory Board.
- Identify new global scientific opportunities to enhance the Centre's outputs.
