Job Overview

We are a growing family-run security business seeking a skilled and motivated Security Technician to join our team. Based in Port Melbourne, Victoria, we provide commercial clients across Melbourne and around Australia with quality work, prompt service, reliability, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Installations and commissioning: Installing security systems such as CCTV, Intruder, and Access Control.
  • Service (Fault finding), Maintenance, and Troubleshooting, including Access Control, CCTV, intercoms, and Networks with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Responding to client needs confidently ensuring our clients feel supported every step of the way.
  • Collaborating with the team to solve problems and grow as a professional.
  • Staying up to date on new security technologies and industry trends through training and professional development.

Requirements

  • A current Driving Licence
  • A current Private Security License
  • An ACMA cabling license (Open)
  • A Construction White Card or Equivalent
  • A Working with Children Check

  • Experience with Security Product Range including:
  • CCTV / IP CCTV
  • ACCESS CONTROL / ALARMS / INTERCOMS
  • Inner Range Concept, Integriti & Inception
  • Tecom Challenger V8, 10 & Plus
  • Software Titan, CTPlus & WMSPro

Package

Salary + Company Vehicle + Overtime + Call-Out + Ongoing Training & Career Management, circa $85,000.00 p.a. to $110,000.00 p.a.
