About the Role:

The Swinburne University of Technology is seeking a highly skilled International Admissions Systems Expert to lead the optimisation and enhancement of the University's international admissions system. This role requires a deep understanding of international admissions processes, experience in managing software platforms, and a focus on ensuring seamless system integrations.

This role will be responsible for guaranteeing the effectiveness, efficiency, and user-friendliness of Swinburne's international admissions system for University staff, prospective students, and education agents. Additionally, the role involves providing recommendations for system enhancements, supporting internal and external users, and collaborating with system vendors for maintenance and administration tasks.

The successful candidate will bring with them a background in the higher education international admissions space with IT skills to manage and operate systems and programs used by the University. Formal qualifications in information technology are not required, but an excellent understanding of how IT platforms allow enterprises to improve their operations is essential.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in analysing business requirements and identifying solutions to support business processes, in line with organisational policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated high level analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills, particularly in developing innovative solutions to problems/issues, and with a strong eye for attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including, negotiation, the ability to provide advice and support to staff, students, and internal and external stakeholders

About You:

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the key accountabilities mentioned above. In addition, you should possess a strong understanding of international admissions processes and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
