Employment Specialist

The Employment Coach is a key position within Workskil Australia Ltd, responsible for delivering employment services to customers with a prior offender history. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that aims to find employment opportunities for customers and provide them with the necessary skills and support to achieve sustained economic and social self-reliance.
Key Responsibilities- Case management of an allocated caseload of up to 80 customers, with a focus on improving their capacity to work by stabilising non-vocational issues and building vocational skills and experience.
- Undertaking 'reverse marketing' of customers to suitable employers and running of group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job placements for customers.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with employers to secure job opportunities for customers.
- Providing customers with the necessary support and guidance to achieve their employment goals.
- A minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development, or willingness to study.
- Experience in the employment services or call centre industry, or similar.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive relationships with customers, employers, and staff.
- Ability to assess, match, and refer customers to appropriate job opportunities and to advocate directly to employers.
- Ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs.
- Strong administration skills and IT literacy, data entry, and typing skills, with experience in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
