About the Position

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be working closely with others and independently to deliver high-quality care using your problem-solving and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with disabilities and aged care needs in a respectful and person-centred manner
  • Work collaboratively with others and independently to deliver high-quality care
  • Utilize problem-solving and excellent communication skills to meet the needs of our clients
  • Demonstrate empathy, understanding, and patience when working with individuals with disabilities or age-related needs
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients

Essential Requirements:

  • Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification or relevant experience in supporting people with disabilities or aged care needs, with a willingness to undertake further study
  • Completion of training modules on the NDIS Commission Quality Safety and You website
  • Completion of the New Worker- NDIS induction module on the NDIS Commission website
  • NDIS and Working with Children clearance
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Access to a comprehensively insured motor vehicle
