Communications Officer Role

The Communications Officer plays a pivotal role in promoting awareness of the goals, benefits, and key milestones of the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) program. This position involves supporting strategic communication activities to align with the vision and objectives of the SDPR Implementation Authority.

About the Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a communications professional to contribute to the successful rollout of the SDPR. As a Communications Officer, you will develop, edit, and deliver various communications materials, campaigns, and resources to inform and engage NSW Health Staff and key stakeholders. Your work will be focused on creating targeted communications to support SDPR implementation and align with SDPRIA goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create effective communications plans and campaigns to promote SDPR awareness and understanding.
  • Evaluate campaign performance to inform ongoing improvements and optimize results.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance messaging across diverse audiences and ensure consistent and effective communication.
  • Support internal communications that promote a positive workplace culture and values.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment with program goals.
About You

We are looking for a skilled communications professional who possesses:

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering communications strategies and campaigns in a complex service industry organization.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual design skills to create engaging communications materials.
