About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pool Operations Supervisor to join our team at the Sydney Gymnastic & Aquatic Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our aquatic facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Pool Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our swimming pools.
  • You will have experience in plant room administrative and practical management, and will assist us in delivering safe, clean, and enjoyable swimming experiences for all members and guests.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant aquatic industry codes and regulations, including RLSSA Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and Lifeguard responsibilities.
  • You will have knowledge and understanding of swimming pool chemistry, sanitation, and filtration, and will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of water quality.
  • You will be required to hold a Pool Lifeguard Certificate, Pool Plant/Aquatic Technical Operations Certificate, and First Aid and CPR Certificates.
  • You will also be required to hold a NSW Working with Children Check.
