About the Role
  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Graduate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Emerald, Queensland.
  • Your role will involve delivering therapy and supports for children, fostering a holistic approach to their growth, development, and overall wellbeing.
  • You will be part of our Brighter Futures New Graduate Program, which provides structured support and development opportunities specifically designed for early-career clinicians.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver therapy and supports for children through face-to-face, telepractice, and outreach delivery models.
  • Engage in family-centred practice, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to meaningful outcomes for rural communities.
  • Participate in monthly Core Competency Learning Areas, including telepractice delivery, strength-based approaches, parent-child relationships, and culturally responsive care.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • AHPRA registration (or eligibility).
  • Passion for working with children and families in regional communities.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and reflective practice.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Benefits:
  • $90,930 Base + Super + NFP Salary Packaging benefits.
  • Additional annual Professional Development budget, paid PD leave, and paid PD travel leave.
  • 3 days additional paid leave over Christmas period.
