Overview

Child and Family Case Worker | Intensive Family Support Service | Emerald

Employment Term: Full-time, 6-month maximum term with the possibility for extension. Location: Based in Emerald with outreach to the Central West area. Remuneration: $49.28 p/hr + Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging.

Role

The Child and Family Case Worker will lead case management with families to identify and prioritise their concerns. In this role you will:

  • Provide a mix of therapeutic and in-home practical care to support complex, vulnerable and often hard to reach families.
  • Actively engage, assess and develop collaborative case plans to ensure we are prioritising the families\' presenting concerns in turn preparing them to be referred to specialist support services.
  • Have a genuine passion for helping people who are vulnerable with previous experience working with children and families who are at risk of or engaged under the child protection act.
