Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Cook with a passion for delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
This role involves assisting in preparing, cooking, and presenting meals in a specific section such as grill, sauce, or pastry. You will help ensure high food quality, maintain hygiene standards, and support junior kitchen staff, all while contributing to a smooth and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present dishes to a high standard within your assigned section
- Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen space
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Monitor stock and assist with rotation and inventory control
- Support and guide junior team members
- Communicate effectively with other sections during service
- Respond to the demands of a dynamic kitchen environment
About You
- 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs
- Understanding of kitchen health and safety regulations
- Able to perform under pressure in a busy service setting
