Cloud Engineering Lead

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineering Lead to join our team in Canberra.

This role involves collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality services quickly and efficiently using automation and self-service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive the adoption of observability tools across our platform capabilities.
  • Identify, inform, and mitigate release engineering risks during planning.
  • Enhance developer productivity, release frequency, and operational outcomes.
  • Design and implement continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate tooling and scripts for development, build, or deployment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration for reliable environment management.
  • Plan, automate, test, and deploy databases using pipelines.
  • Implement process improvements for DevOps workflows.
  • Foster internal and external relationships, offering mentorship as needed.
  • Effectively manage time and workload to meet project deadlines.
Required Skills:

Strong IT infrastructure background with expertise in cloud architecture. Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation. Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
