This is a highly visible and influential position that offers the opportunity to shape governance within an organisation driven by integrity, transparency, and member outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:- Support the Board in accordance with relevant legislation, while aligning with best practices in governance principles.
- Monitor Board and Director compliance with Charter responsibilities and relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage Fit and Proper process and General Insurance related declarations for all Responsible Persons.
- Draft reports and submissions for Boards and Committees on governance-related matters as required.
- Coordinate correspondence with regulatory bodies on matters required under relevant acts.
The ideal candidate will be qualified with a minimum of 8 years' experience as a Company Secretary in a highly regulated organisation. APRA regulated experience is essential as is the ability to operate to ASX listed, and/or highly regulated governance standards.
