We are currently seeking a talented professional to join our Corporate and Commercial Team. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This position will be ideal for an experienced insurance broker with 1-2 years' experience managing a portfolio of business risks. The successful candidate will have exposure to a diverse range of clients, participating in new business tenders and proposals, building relationships and assisting with the placement of complex insurance programs.

We expect you to:

  • Maintain a portfolio of key revenue-generating accounts while ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Develop, pursue and convert new business opportunities.
  • Grow a commercial portfolio through new logo and organic expanded opportunities.
  • On-board new clients and deliver on our value proposition.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers
  • Plan and implement effective renewal and broking strategies.
  • Ensure effective account retention and defense strategies are in place for all clients.
  • Actively participate in claim-related matters

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Ideal background in insurance broking with 1 – 2 years experience.
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team
  • Moderate knowledge of risks and insurance products for key industry sectors.
  • Motivation to self-start, enhanced by time management skills
  • Capability to identify and address issues through innovative thinking
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite and demonstrated ability to learn systems quickly
  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualifications or higher
