  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in South Townsville. As a key member of our Resources and Industrial (R&I) team, you will be responsible for managing electrical components of projects across all phases of the project lifecycle.

">Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing electrical components of projects across all phases of the project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, detailed design, procurement assistance, site construction, and commissioning.

  • Collaborating with skilled engineers on diverse projects within resources/industrial, transport, water, and buildings sectors.
">Required Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
">
  • Proven engineering/design experience within mining, local government, or heavy industry sectors.
">
  • Exposure to design and specification of industrial systems such as HV/LV distribution, controls, and communications, safety systems, and motor controls.
">
  • Proficient in producing engineering documentation such as technical specifications, datasheets, reports, and scope of works.
