Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electrical components of projects across all phases of the project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, detailed design, procurement assistance, site construction and commissioning.

You will collaborate with skilled engineers across a range of diverse projects within resources/industrial, transport, water and buildings sectors.

  • Mentor, develop and guide junior engineers whilst playing an active part in growing your team in size and capability.
  • Provide technical advice on local sustaining capital projects and studies while contributing to workshare projects with larger metropolitan offices on 'city-changing' projects.
Key Qualifications and Experience

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Proven engineering/design experience within mining, local government or heavy industry sectors.
  • Exposure to the design and specification of industrial systems such as HV/LV distribution, controls and communications, safety systems and motor controls.
  • Proficient in producing engineering documentation such as technical specifications, datasheets, reports and scope of works.
