Electrical engineering leadership opportunity

Job Summary:

We seek a senior electrical engineer to lead and develop high-performance projects, collaborating with diverse teams within resources / industrial, transport, water, and buildings sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage electrical components of projects across all phases, from concept to commissioning, operations, and decommissioning.
  • Collaborate with skilled engineers on various projects, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve project goals.
  • Provide technical advice on local sustaining capital projects and studies, ensuring optimal solutions.
  • Mentor, develop, and guide junior engineers, fostering growth and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Proven engineering/design experience in mining, local government, or heavy industry sectors.
  • Exposure to design and specification of industrial systems, including HV/LV distribution, controls, communications, safety systems, and motor controls.
  • Proficient in producing engineering documentation, such as technical specifications, datasheets, reports, and scope of works.
