Fuse Recruitment is partnering with a leading national industry player in Audio Visual installations to find their next Senior Project Manager. This site and office-based role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities- Manage project teams for the Installed Systems team, working on projects for various clients, including sporting venues, theatres, schools, public precincts, corporate facilities, parliaments, TV studios, and councils.
- Coordinate resources and stakeholders, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor quality and performance, and summarize and communicate project progress and profitability.
- Day-to-day management, including evaluating system and design systems, preparing and supervising documentation and equipment for installation, attending and/or supervising onsite implementation, client liaison, evaluations, and reporting.
- End-to-end management of the Project Delivery Division operations, including full project life cycle ownership, successful project delivery, and implementation from initiation to deployment.
- Create project breakdowns and analyze costs associated with each section of a project.
- Submit contract submissions and ensure installation documents are ready for the install team prior to commencement.
- Develop detailed bills of materials, purchase requisitions, and special requirement lists for action by various teams and departments.
- Develop labour plans for projects, detailing the types of staff required each day.
- Continually monitor operational costs versus budgets to ensure projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Manage contractors, including working with human resources on contract negotiations.
- Complete general administration tasks and travel to various sites and businesses to undertake tasks in line with a Project Manager's role.
- Consult with builders and/or customers regarding site requirements, work health and safety expectations, site inductions, and site-specific queries.

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in project management and/or construction management, with exposure to audio, network, and electrical systems or similar. You will also have a minimum of five years' proven project/contact management experience involving installation of audio visual, commercial drapes, heavy mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems.
You will have experience working in the installation and commissioning of audio visual, commercial drapes, heavy mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems. You will also have a solid understanding of construction methodologies, including cable installations and structural integrity of materials.
You will be able to read and interpret plans, drawings, design documentation, and specifications with an attention to detail when preparing material lists and project plans. You will have commercial acumen, together with a strong understanding and capacity to meet client requirements with diplomacy and sensitivity to solving complex problems.
You will have proven practical experience with work health and safety principles and practices. You will also have proven experience in developing and implementing project plans, including the coordination and management of logistics, personnel, supplies, and equipment.
You will be able to recognize areas for improvement, create clear plans, communicate the plans to senior management level, and then successfully implement. You will have high-level organizational and administrative skills, the ability to prioritize, organize, and coordinate multiple tasks against strict deadlines.
You will have exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with a wide variety of clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders. You will also have excellent communication ability, including the ability to prepare accurate and relevant written reports and business communications.
You will have a high level of PC literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, and Outlook, and an understanding of CAD programs. You will also have excellent costing/estimating base, showing accurate margin delivery, coupled with solid commercial acumen with a strong financial focus.
You will have outstanding leadership capabilities and proven strength in leading and coaching teams.
