In remote Northern Territory communities, a Dental Therapist/Oral Health Therapist plays a vital role in providing culturally safe and high-quality care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality dental treatment services to patients in remote NT communities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
  • Contribute to clinical policies and procedures development and implementation.
Requirements
  • A valid Oral Health Scheduled Substance Treatment Protocol (SSTP) certificate within the past 2 years.
  • A current NT Radiation License or application for NT Radiation License.
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate full-time experience as a dental therapist.
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a dental therapist within the past 12 months.
  • A current BLS/CPR Certificate.
