Everbright Dental has been servicing our patients at Raymond Terrace and Kurri Kurri for the past decade.

We are looking for a positive and proactive team member with a caring nature focused on providing our patients with the best care. The successful applicant can expect to work as an integral part of a close-knit dental team where positive attitude will be encouraged. 

This is a casual position for Dental assisting and reception at Kurri Kurri and Raymond Terrace.

About the role

The role includes (but is not limited to):

  • Ability to follow and retain information.
  • Infection control / sterilization of instruments
  • Following infection control protocols.
  • Assisting dentist chair side.
  • Reception duties including answering phone calls and making appointments.
  • Preparing dental rooms for treatment.
  • Computer skills is required for operating core practice software and digital x-rays.
  • Stock management.
  • General cleanliness of the practice and maintenance of equipment.
  • Participating in and facilitating morning huddles and staff meetings.
  • Assisting in organizing patient referrals and treatment plans.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Driver's license and access to a car. (Travel between locations will be necessary)
  • A reliable, positive, friendly & can-do attitude.
  • The ability to work within a team environment & unsupervised.
  • A strong understanding of infection control and protocols.

Skills and experience

Experience in a dental setting is highly desirable.
