Job Description

We are seeking a clinical psychologist or registrar to provide evidence-based therapy services to adult clients in a part-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have experience in private practice and be able to offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and out-of-hours sessions.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with our team to deliver holistic, trauma-informed practices that prioritize client well-being. A strong understanding of neuroaffirming and trauma-informed frameworks is desirable, but not required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individual therapy services to adult clients
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
  • Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold an endorsement as a clinical psychologist or be registered as a clinical psychology registrar
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 client days per week available, one of which must be a Saturday
  • Be eligible to offer Medicare-rebated services (i.e., hold a Medicare provider number)
  • Have individual professional indemnity/public liability insurance

The Space

Our room is located within a wellness studio, home to a massage therapist, pilates instructor, and yoga instructor centrally located in New Farm. This offers you a calm, inclusive, and non-clinical environment to practice within. The room is spacious and brightly lit with both client and clinician needs in mind, including comfortable furniture, open private balcony, airconditioning, tea, fidgets, ergonomic sit-to-stand desk, computer screen, printer, and well-resourced with therapy/assessment tools.
