Therapy Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapy Specialist to provide evidence-based early intervention and therapy services.

About the Position
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need for children and families.
  • Offer education, support, and guidance to clients and families on maximizing independence and participation.
  • Develop tailored, routine-based objectives with clients and families, utilizing expert therapy interventions and resources.
  • Regularly review progress and set new priorities in collaboration with clients and families.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA.
  • A passion for making therapy engaging, meaningful, and fun for families.
  • Excellent counselling skills, including knowledge of therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and parents.
  • Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable.
  • Compliance with necessary checks and certifications, including AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid Training, and possession of a Driver's License and Vehicle.
