Electronics Engineer Position for a Cutting-Edge Quantum Sensing Team

This role involves working as part of an experienced team, developing and deploying our cutting-edge sensors. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and updating electronic systems and equipment, collaborating closely with engineers, scientists, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed to exact specifications. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring all equipment and products meet stringent health and safety regulations, evaluating existing processes, and providing recommendations for enhancement.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in PCB design using Altium Designer, experience in programming in embedded C, C++, and Python, and knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design. Miniaturized electronics, debugging and fault-finding circuits, and surface mount assembly and rework skills are also essential. However, if you don't have all the necessary skills, we would still love to talk – we are open to discussing your qualifications and potential.
As an Electronics Engineer at Nomad Atomics, you will enjoy a competitive salary of around $120,000 per year, plus employee share option package and opportunities for professional growth and advancement. The role is full-time and based in Melbourne, Australia, with flexibility to work from home from time to time.
