Urban Forest Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled Urban Forest Coordinator to manage our council-owned trees and provide expert advice on urban forest management.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing council-owned trees using Forestree and TechOne, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and strategic goals.
  2. Providing technical guidance to the community, stakeholders, and teams on urban forest management.
  3. Leading the Urban Forest Team, including contractors, for efficient and budget-compliant tree maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • AQF5 Diploma of Arboriculture, White Card, current C Class Driver's Licence, at least 5 years' experience in local government tree management or Australian arboricultural industry, Tree Risk Assessment Qualifications, and intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Suite.
