We are seeking a dedicated Employment Guidance Professional to actively engage with participants and support them in overcoming career challenges.

This role involves providing one-to-one coaching sessions, conducting career assessments, using strategic approaches to develop effective job search strategies, and referring participants to relevant training services.

You will be part of a supportive team committed to fostering well-being, independence, and opportunity for everyone.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs and creating personalized action plans.
  • Conduct career assessments and help clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals.
  • Utilize strategic approaches to collaborate with community organizations and enhance network connections.
  • Assist participants in developing efficient job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
  • Refer participants to relevant training, counseling, and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes.

About You:

  • Experience in customer-facing roles, client management, or administrative positions.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal and written abilities.
  • Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills, along with the ability to identify innovative solutions.
  • Capacity to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to undergo a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
  • A valid and current Driver's License.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
