- Supervise and support nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and evaluating performance.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Oversee patient care delivery to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients' families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Address and resolve patient care issues and concerns in a timely manner.
- Manage daily operations of the clinical unit, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Ensure the unit is adequately staffed and equipped to meet patient needs.
- Monitor and manage unit resources, including expenses related to staffing, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will have experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager, current AHPRA registration, and clinical experience in aged care working in a residential setting.
They will also possess knowledge of AN-ACC and audits, and be able to coordinate and oversee audits, clinical indicators, and ensure best practice.
Additionally, they will have current Influenza and COVID vaccinations.
