We are seeking an experienced researcher to join our team in a PhD and Postdoc position focused on electron-photon interactions within electron microscopes.
About the ProjectThe project is funded by the ERC Starting Grant eWaveShaper and hosted at Charles University. We aim to develop novel methods in ultrafast electron microscopy and spectroscopy, addressing fundamental and applied challenges in understanding and manipulating electron-photon interactions.
This research will enable the visualization and analysis of dynamic processes at the atomic and molecular level, with implications for materials science, nanotechnology, and quantum physics. The project is led by Dr. Martin Kozak and his team.
Job Requirements- A master's or PhD degree in physics or a related field.
- Strong background in optics (theoretical or experimental), ultrafast laser physics, or electron microscopy.
- Commitment to collaborative research and excellent oral and written communication skills.
