Job Title: Advanced Photonics Engineer

This role involves the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge fiber optic gyroscope technology. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of FOG physics, photonics, and manufacturing processes.

  • The successful applicant will lead the design and development of FOG systems for outstanding performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • They will also develop and refine manufacturing processes for FOGs, ensuring scalability to large production volumes.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure seamless product development and integration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing test data, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance FOG performance and reliability.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in FOG technology, photonics, and relevant manufacturing techniques.
  • Contribution to a customer-centric approach by ensuring our FOG technology meets and exceeds customer expectations in demanding applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the field of Fiber Optic Gyroscopes.
  • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of FOG physics, including the Sagnac effect and associated phenomena.

Key Deliverables:

  • Lead the development of high-performance FOG systems.
  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes for FOGs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and integration.
