Electron Photon Interaction Researcher

Our research group is seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team focused on the study of electron-photon interactions within electron microscopes.

The available positions are part of an ERC Starting Grant project called eWaveShaper, which aims to develop novel methods in ultrafast electron microscopy and spectroscopy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research in electron-photon interactions using ultrafast electron microscopy and spectroscopy.
  2. Develop new experimental techniques for imaging and analyzing dynamic processes at the atomic and molecular level.
  3. Collaborate with the research group to advance the frontiers of ultrafast electron-photon interaction research.

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD degree in physics or a related field.
  • Strong background in optics (theoretical or experimental), ultrafast laser physics, or electron microscopy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to collaborative research.
