Job Summary

We seek experienced shotfirer assistants to work in the Lower Hunter Valley.

About the Role

  • Assist shotfirers with tasks such as dipping and tying shot patterns, priming and loading blast holes, and maintaining drill hole records.
  • Work safely and productively outdoors.
  • Provide mine site competencies or proof of prior learning.

Requirements

  • Safe and productive work ethic.
  • Proven experience in production mining environments.
  • Hold current driver's license.
  • Security clearance (UHL).
  • Able to undergo Order 43 Coal Services Health medical and D&A Test.
