This roster is 8 days on and 6 days off and a 12 hour day.

About the Role This 12-month contract offers a unique opportunity to step into a visible and impactful planning role at Cowal, Evolution Mining's cornerstone operation.
Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer – Open Pit, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering short-range mine schedules, managing weekly planning cycles, and collaborating across departments to ensure safe and efficient execution.
What sets this role apart: Ownership of the weekly mine plan, presented to senior stakeholders with clear deadlines and visibility.
Exposure to expansion projects, including new cutbacks and satellite pits, offering rare planning complexity.
Embedded in a tight-knit, high-performing team with strong support and development culture.
You'll be working in a dynamic environment where your planning decisions directly influence operational success.

About You You're keen to be part of the Evolution Mining team and ready to step into a more visible, autonomous role.
With 2–5 years' post-grad experience, you've likely completed the graduate program and are now looking to deepen your planning expertise and broaden your site exposure.
You'll bring: A Bachelor of Mining Engineering (or equivalent) and solid Deswik skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
A drive to grow through doing, with support from experienced peers and a leader who values initiative.
