Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve their full potential, and we're seeking a dedicated Residential Mental Health Support Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support and services to young people with mental health issues in a residential setting.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement tailored support plans that promote independence and self-esteem.
  • Facilitate social skills development, conflict resolution, and healthy relationships through mentorship and role modeling.
  • Encourage clients to take ownership of their mental health and well-being through education and support.

Requirements
  • Minimum of Cert IV in Mental Health or related field, with a strong focus on community services and youth work.
  • Proven experience in working with young people with mental health issues, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Ability to assess risk and manage crisis situations effectively, with a commitment to duty of care and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on active listening and empathy.
