About the Role

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled Office Coordinator to join our Eagle Farm, QLD office. As a key member of the Health Safety & Environment Operations team, you will provide administrative support to the Sime Darby Berhad (SDB) Executive Manager of HSE Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver seamless administrative assistance to the Executive Manager of HSE Operations
  • Prepare safety and sustainability reports, presentations, and papers that drive meaningful change
  • Coordinate travel, accommodations, and entertainment for the team, ensuring smooth operations
  • Manage correspondence effectively, providing timely responses and maintaining confidentiality
  • Coordinate and administer various Safety & Sustainability administrative tasks as required
  • Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing correspondence and initiate follow-up actions where necessary
  • Organise and facilitate meetings, including video conferences, and record and prepare minutes when required
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in an administrative role within a large organisation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant systems to streamline operations
  • Ability to engage stakeholders with confidence, professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional service
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to convey ideas clearly
  • Knowledge of Safety and Sustainability policies and procedures (Desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (Desirable)
