We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Equity Capital Markets team at CommBank. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for raising equity capital and providing strategic advice to our corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the execution of CBA's Equity Capital Markets activities, including origination and execution of primary market and follow-on transactions.
- Assist with the development of financial models and evaluation of potential equity capital market transactions.
- Review and compile large sets of information to assist with pitching to potential clients and evaluating transactions.
- Prepare documentation, including transaction approval papers, offer documents, and marketing documents, and coordinate the transaction settlement process.
- Structure and coordinate materials for pitching to potential clients and collaborate with stakeholders across the Bank.
- Assist senior team members in the day-to-day management of the team's activities and help to manage and uplift the team's Risk and Compliance processes.
- Keen interest and principal understanding of Australian equity markets.
- Understanding of fundamental analysis and financial modelling.
- Understanding of various valuation techniques.
- Strong focus on accuracy and precision with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish professional and internal networks.
- Confident multi-tasker and self-starter with strong time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
