Job Title: Exams Officer

The Exams and Assessment Office at Murdoch University is seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in the smooth administration of exams across all campuses. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing online exams, working closely with Learning Technology and ITS teams to prepare and organize exam materials.

The ideal candidate will have extensive computer literacy and proficiency, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will act as a key point of contact for academic staff from allocated schools, reviewing exam papers and setting up online exams.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and talented team, working in an innovative university community. The ideal candidate will have a degree and subsequent work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for academic staff from allocated schools
  • Reviewing exam papers and setting up online exams
  • Coordinating and managing the exam process for allocated cohorts
  • Determining external exam venues
  • Evaluating alternative exam accommodations
