Analyst Field Examiner — Perth, WA

This is an exciting role, reporting into the Finance Operations Manager. You will spend your days visiting our business customers face to face across Perth. No two days will be the same, with this role offering outstanding flexibility and autonomy to manage your day. It will suit someone with either a banking or accounting/audit background keen to progress and build their expertise. You will meet with Invoice Finance customers, understand and analyse their business as an Analyst Field Examiner.

Role Overview

As an Analyst, Field Examiner, you will be joining a specialised banking team driving excellence by owning it. Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:

  • Adhere to travel and expense policy standards
  • Plan, schedule, and execute field examinations across the Invoice Finance Portfolio
  • Ensure effective management of risk and compliance across all areas of responsibility, upholding policies, procedures, and statutory requirements
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with business partners and customers to ensure the best outcomes while supporting NAB to monitor risks and maintain a strong control environment
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer and the environment, escalating observations that differ from normal business operations
  • Proactively monitor and escalate early warning signs observed during examinations
  • Travel across Perth as required
Requirements
  • Strong banking experience with disciplines in risk management and compliance
  • Experience with Invoice Finance products or similar
  • Valid Australian Driver's License
  • Relevant qualifications in commerce or accounting discipline (Desirable)
  • CPA or CA (Desirable)
  • Proven ability to communicate with influence and build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Strong organisational, time management, and analytical skills with high attention to detail
