Job Description

The Client Service Officer plays a vital role in supporting the implementation of advice for clients.

  • Client Support
  • Complete necessary paperwork to implement recommendations detailed in Statements of Advice, including preparation of application forms and liaison with product providers.
  • Manage and monitor the implementation process for clients proactively and effectively.
  • Ensure timely completion of asset transfers, which may involve liaison with product providers.
  • Lodge paperwork and applications forms to ensure recommendations are implemented appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Keep advisers and associates updated on client applications in progress.
  • Investments
  • Set up online portal access for clients via Xplan Touch and manage the online system to meet company needs.
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly portfolio reports for clients.
  • Become proficient in Xplan functionality and investment platforms/products used by the company.
  • General Responsibilities
  • Undertake administrative tasks to support advisers and the business.
  • Have thorough understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Perform general office administration.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Ensure timely communication with Operations Manager on workflow progress and manage adviser expectations.
  • Adhere to agreed behaviour framework.
  • Complete implementation of advice accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct all facets of the advice process in a compliant and timely manner.
  • Perform tasks according to policy, practices, and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Proficiency in Xplan functionality and investment platforms/products.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry and regulations.
