Intensive Therapeutic Care Leadership Role

The Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) model is a specialized approach to supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma and neglect. As an ITC House Supervisor, you will play a critical role in coordinating the day-to-day functions and operations of our intensive therapeutic care house.

This leadership role involves overseeing the daily operations of the ITC house, providing strengths-based supervision, support, and mentoring to our team members. You will be responsible for managing house finances, administration, client records, and reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with incident management, reporting, and escalation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or Social Welfare, including electives on trauma, or a relevant Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma, Statutory Child Protection, or Client Intervention and Case Management
  • 3 years' direct experience in working with high-risk or vulnerable children and young people in an out-of-home care environment
  • 2 years' experience leading a small team using contemporary approaches
  • A well-developed understanding of Out of Home Care Services, Intensive Therapeutic Care, and child protection
  • Ability to manage crisis situations and make sound decisions under pressure
