Cinemas Duty Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Duty Manager at our cinema location. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the team and delivering exceptional service on shift.

Our cinema is located in the heart of the northern suburbs, with multiple Gold Class Cinemas, VMAX cinemas, and Original Cinemas. We offer a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that is ideal for someone who thrives on variety and is passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience as a level 3 cinema employee
  • Competence in all FOH departments and cash handling
  • Strong computer literacy

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to our company values, vision, and purpose. They will also be willing to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the business in the absence of the Assistant General Manager and General Manager
  • Conducting open and close procedures, including secondary cash handling
  • Training, leading, and coaching of existing and new team members
  • Handling customer enquiries and feedback
  • Working as part of the management team to maintain high NPS scores
  • Ensuring the safety of all team members and customers
  • Communicating and implementing EVT standards and policies on shift
