Strategic Tax Compliance Specialist

A healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to drive compliance, reporting and process improvement initiatives within a dynamic finance team.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in Australian tax compliance, including corporate tax, GST, FBT, payroll tax and other direct taxes.
Key responsibilities include preparing corporate income tax and fringe benefits tax returns, reviewing and submitting monthly BAS statements, producing monthly reporting outputs for Finance, staying updated with changes in tax legislation and advising management on impacts, completing annual deferred tax reporting, reviewing payroll tax obligations, implementing process improvements and automated tax compliance solutions, providing ad hoc tax advice, and liaising with external auditors and tax authorities to manage audits and resolve any tax-related issues.
Requirements- Strong experience in Australian tax compliance.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic finance environment.
- Experienced in process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with internal teams and external advisors.
