About the Role

We are seeking a Part Time Cafe Attendant to join our Catering team at Wests New Lambton site. This position is key to our Patisserie in the food court.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making barista coffee and hot beverages
  • Preparing cooking and serving food
  • Cleaning of all work areas
  • Set up and pack down of work stations
  • Disposal of waste products

Requirements

You will be someone who can work under pressure, maintaining high standards at all times. You should have good availability throughout the week and weekends, and previous experience in a similar cafe environment or fast food industry is desirable.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. They should also be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of quality and presentation are maintained at all times. You should be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve efficiency and productivity.
