Draftsperson - Design and Production Specialist

At Corporate Furniture, we specialise in delivering high-quality commercial joinery and acoustic solutions for the commercial office fit-out industry.

We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our team, bringing with them a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering accurate workings, plans, and drawings on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Draft and produce accurate workings, plans, drawings, schedules, and specifications with a high attention to detail.
  2. Estimate material costs and timescales for commercial fit-out projects.
  3. Verify that designs align with specifications and industry standards, making any necessary adaptations or enhancements.
  4. Maintain records of all drawings, designs, and project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  5. Work closely with clients and sub-contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and required software and technical skills to ensure designs remain current and compliant.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of highly relevant experience in commercial joinery and drafting.
  • Proficiency in software such as Pytha 3D Cad, AutoCad, Cubmaster, Enroute, and Alphacam, as well as knowledge of Woodtron CNC.
  • Extensive knowledge of joinery practices and processes.
