Residential Draftsperson Opportunity

Metricon Homes, Australia's largest home builder, is seeking a skilled Residential Draftsperson to join their New South Wales team based in Baulkham Hills. As a key member of the drafting team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality design drawings using CAD/Revit for various stages of the workflow process.

About the Role

  • Produce design drawings for site plans, design solution sketches, sales plans, working drawings, variations, council plans, and final construction drawings.
  • Ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy to reflect customer requirements and Metricon standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, external customers, suppliers, agents, and contractors to maintain and improve relationships.
  • Maintain and develop thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services, and processes.

Requirements

  • Formal qualifications in Architectural Drafting (Diploma or higher) would be an advantage.
  • NSW Home Building Experience.
  • Minimum 2 years drafting experience within the volume residential building industry.
  • Competent and experienced with AutoCAD and Revit in residential drafting.
  • An understanding of residential construction and the construction process.
  • A thorough knowledge of building and planning regulations.
