Regional Infrastructure Specialist

As a key member of our Colocation Regional Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing full life-cycle support to Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance.
The successful candidate will have strong engineering judgement, excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and maintain high quality standards. You will work with colo vendors to review the design for new Data Centers, act as resident engineer during new colo construction projects, troubleshoot and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for site/equipment failure, and provide technical support to the design for existing data center upgrades.
You will also interface with operating partners, data center design engineering team, server hardware team, environmental health and safety team to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered by operating partners. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents for new Data Centers.
- Provide on-site technical support during construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct thorough investigations and root cause analysis for equipment or site failures, implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data center design strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
