Regional Infrastructure Engineer

Mechanical Colo Regional Engineers are key contributors to the success of our global infrastructure. Their primary responsibility is to lead the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS facilities worldwide.
">- Possess strong engineering judgement and provide recommendations despite uncertainty
- Are detail and data oriented
- Have experience managing engineering projects and consultants.
- Build trust and relationships with different stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Commissioning, Construction and Design)
A typical day for a Mechanical Colo Regional Engineer includes collaborating with various teams responsible for all aspects of the data centers. They prioritize their activities to ensure data center capacity availability and safety by focusing on the most impactful actions.
">Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Mechanical Colo Regional Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing full life-cycle support to Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance.
- Serving as the 'go to' engineering resource for your region when technical advice is needed.
- Collaborating with software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered by operating partners.
- Interface with data center design engineering teams, server hardware teams, environmental health and safety teams to ensure seamless execution of projects locally and globally.
