Position Overview
Clinical Senior Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapist is a pivotal role within the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network, driving improvements in service quality, safety, and community-focused distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver top-tier services and provide inspiring clinical and professional leadership to allied health professionals.
- Collaborate with allied health staff, managers, and key stakeholders to enhance models of care and workforce development initiatives.
- Apply a deep understanding of the network's strategic directions, health unit operations, and service delivery challenges to manage complex and diverse responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must hold a recognised qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
- Bring extensive knowledge as a Rural Generalist or within a specific discipline, providing complex clinical and consultancy services.
- Exercise professional independence and clinical competence, utilizing advanced reflective-practice skills to implement innovative and sophisticated techniques effectively.
