Are you a highly skilled tax professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic industry?

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with extensive experience working within a tax function to transition into an in-house tax position.

The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Tax Advisor to join our team. As a key member of the tax department, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to clients across various industries.

Your primary focus will be on tax compliance, reporting, advisory, and risk management. You will work closely with the tax manager to ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns, manage tax payments, and assist with tax provisions, reporting, and forecasting.

In addition, you will support Corporate and Collective Compliance (CbC) reporting, audits, and tax investigations, liaise with external advisors, and contribute to tax process improvements.

You will also have the opportunity to advise on income tax, FBT, GST, employment taxes, and transfer pricing, as well as monitor and report on tax law changes impacting the business.

The Requirements
  • Candidates must be qualified or have a Master's degree in Taxation.
  • Must have 3-6 years' experience working in a corporate tax-focused role in a Big 4 or mid-tier chartered firm, looking to make their first move into industry to an in-house tax role.
  • Must be dynamic, ambitious, and interested in working in a fast-growing sector.
  • Have a solid understanding of tax concepts, compliance, and reporting, specifically tax effect accounting and income tax.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of robust quality processes that must be upheld.
  • Excellent communication skills across all stakeholders.
