Solution Consultant

Are you a skilled professional with expertise in indirect tax looking for a challenging role? This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Solution Consultant and help Australian enterprises navigate complex GST, e-invoicing, and digital reporting.

In this client-facing role, you will utilize your knowledge of indirect tax to partner with sales teams and grow advocacy for our product portfolio across the Australian market. You will engage with prospects and customers to solve complex indirect tax challenges (VAT/GST, sales and use tax, excise, digital services tax) using our platform.

You will combine tax domain knowledge, technical aptitude, and consultative selling skills to design solutions, deliver compelling demos, and guide customers through successful adoption.

About the Role
  • Engage in solution advocacy using best-in-class technology to provide expert advice during the sales cycle.
  • Understand customer requirements and find the best solution within our capability to develop a strong proposal that sets us apart from competitors.
  • Lead complex discussions, define problems, and scope scalable solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Respond quickly to new leads to progress deals through the sales cycle.
  • Develop and close new opportunities to meet and exceed recurring and outright Gross Sales quotas.
  • Stay up-to-date with news and changes in policy, regulations, and activities of major players in the industries to lead discussions with customers and present expertise.
  • Assist in key retention situations, bringing domain expertise relevant to the customer as agreed with stakeholders.
About You
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of total industry experience, preferably gained at an accounting/law firm or within an Australian corporation.
