Senior Governance and Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Governance and Compliance Manager to lead our company's governance, risk, and compliance activities.
This is a challenging role that requires a high degree of autonomy, strategic thinking, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and compliance principles and practices. They will be responsible for developing and implementing effective governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures that meet best practice standards.
In addition to their technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across the organization.
About the Role
- Lead the development and implementation of governance, risk, and compliance strategies and frameworks
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in governance, risk, and compliance roles
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, risk management, and compliance principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
