Job Overview:

This is a senior leadership position overseeing MineStar productivity and safety activities at remote mine sites. The successful candidate will partner with dealers and customers to ensure optimal product performance, driving high operational output.

The role involves leading a team of skilled site-based employees, maintaining key site performance metrics, and collaborating with the MineStar for Underground Product Support team to address any product defects or issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of highly skilled site-based employees to achieve outstanding results
  • Collaborate with dealers and customers to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain key site performance metrics, including MineStar technology availability, production metrics, and operating cost per tonne
  • Partner with the MineStar for Underground Product Support team to address product defects and issues
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A university degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with CAT MineStar Technology is advantageous
  • Relevant experience in technology or mining fields
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills
  • A strong customer focus and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

This is a Fly in Fly out role for a customer in Indonesia, with a commencing roster of 2 weeks on-site / 1 week off / 3 weeks remote from Caterpillar Australia offices.
